About MCP Directory

MCP Directory indexes public Model Context Protocol servers from GitHub and organizes them so AI engineers can find the right tool quickly.

How it works

A weekly script scans GitHub for repos tagged with mcp, model-context-protocol, or that mention MCP in their README. We extract metadata, infer a category, and rebuild the static site. No tracking beyond simple privacy-friendly analytics.

Monetization disclosure

The site is free. We make money via (1) optional featured listings ($29/30 days), (2) display ads, and (3) affiliate links to managed-MCP services. Paid placement does not affect category ranking beyond the explicit "Featured" rail, and we always disclose it.

Independence

MCP Directory is not affiliated with Anthropic or the MCP authors. The MCP spec and trademarks belong to their owners.
